Liquid lipsticks are no longer the "latest craze", they have become a staple product in most make up bags. I for one own quite a few of them and now I have a few more to add to my growing collection.
When applying liquid lipstick you need a certain level of concentration because as soon as you so out the natural lip line it can be a pain to correct - you don't want to walk around with a mouth like a Baboons Ass. Whilst at an event at The Body Shop I picked up 5 different shades of their Matte Lip Liquid lipstick and I just couldn't wait to try them out and share my thoughts.
NAIROBI CAMELLIA - I have quite a vast collection of lipsticks but this is the first lipstick I have owned that is a nude/pink shade.
I was so happy with the colour, the formula is quite creamy and thick so it was easy to apply. This tone reminds of of one of the Kylie Jenner lip kits and it might just become one of my new favourites.
I am a huge fan of the liquid lipstick. I feel it has better pigmentation than most lipsticks and it has fantastic staying power but I can only wear it for a day or two until my lips dry out a little. So I tend to switch between liquid lipsticks and cream lipsticks to try and avoid dried out lips.
If you are heading in to your nearest Body Shop then remember to take a look at their make up range - especially these bad boys because at only £6 a pop, they are an amazing product!
Oh. I must add: To me they have a very familiar scent. To me they smel of Blackcurrent. Blackcurrent Lemsip to be exact. But hey, that could just be my nose.
What is your favourite liquid lipsticks?
