It is official. I cannot convert foreign money. I thought this was only like £30. Turns out, I was wrong.
Whilst travelling around Europe this Summer, I promised myself that I would pop in past a Sephora and treat myself to a few things that I haven’t seen before.
Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Escalator Mascara – This amazing mascara is from a brand called Too Cool For School. I will admit that the only reason why I bought this particular mascara is because of the name and the illustration. I didn’t realise at the time that there was a dinosaur on the inside OR on the mascara tube. This is the “Escalator” mascara and it is adjustable, so the brush gets smaller so you can reach the tiny lashes. This lengthens your lashes beautiful, and it separates them to give them a natural look. They have a range of beauty products that you can purchase from Sephora or Amazon. I think they are in the midst of launching their website.
TonyMoly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk – I have seen this humorous little banana shaped hand cream appear on other blogs and vlogs and I am a sucker for anything that is cute. This hand cream is so soft and smooth on my hands, and it is easy to blend in to the skin. Aside from the packaging, the best thing about this is the scent. If you love banana foam sweets, then you will love this.
Amika Triple Shampoo – I have tried the Amika hair products before because of Birchbox and I really enjoyed using them. I seen this little bottle and was intrigued by it. It is meant to repair, restore and revitalise dry, damaged hair. Since getting more blonde in my hair, I have noticed that my hair is a little dry at the ends. So I am willing to try anything that will help.
Nourishing Cuticle Care – This formula is so lovely. When I remove nail polish, I always use a cuticle oil to soften my cuticles and nourish the skin around the nails. I loved the look of this little dropper bottle and all the little pink balls within it. I was worried that they were micro-beads, but they dissolve in to nothing as soon as there is a tiny amount of pressure. The scent is light and floral and it leaves my nails shiny and smooth and the skin around my nails feel nourished.
Nail Polish – Well, obviously I have seen this before. I bought this more for the fact that I forgot to pack nail polish with me. I went for black (for my toenails) and a lovely grey with a tiny touch of pink – for my fingernails.
Tweezers – Same as above. I forgot to pack some and I knew that I would need them at some point whilst travelling. I bought a two-pack and have already lost one of them. Lovely.
