Moonpig to the rescue.
If, like me, you have a terrible memory for important days of the year then you will definitely need a reminder that Father’s Day is fast approaching.

Around the same time every year, when the shops and supermarkets start displaying “Worlds Best Dad” mugs and cards, I get a wash of panic because there is no doubt that I will forget to pick up a card until it is last minute. Then it normally arrives too late.

When it comes to choosing a gift for my dad, I always think that food and drink is the best way to go because he doesn’t need a mug or a fridge magnet to remind him that I am his favourite daughter – sorry if my two sisters are reading this, but you know it is true. Haha!

Now, my dad lives in South Wales and I live in the North East of Scotland, so I need to find a safe way to send him his gifts. Luckily Moonpig has a solution… hampers.

If you are just looking for an awesome card, a personalised gift or even a clock that reminds you to drink beer on the hour, every hour - then Moonpig has everything you would need to spoil your dad rotten on Father’s Day. I think we can all agree, that like I said before, food and drink make the best gift so the hampers from Moonpig are perfect.

There is something for cheese lovers, beer lovers and even an indulgent chocolate wicker basket for those who have a major sweet tooth. Heck, you can even buy them a bottle of Whisky, Gin or Port – so there is definitely something for everyone.

This particular small hamper comes with some amazing treats and I really am tempted to just keep them for myself, but I better not. I mean, who doesn’t want a hamper filled with luxury chocolates, shortbread, marmalade, teabags and most importantly BUTTERMILK VANILLA FUDGE! I mean, come on. That is just the perfect hamper for me, so I might just have to remove the bag of fudge for quality control purposes, obviously.
With hampers that are pre-built, I normally get them shipped to myself so I can personalise them a little bit. Add a wee bottle of their favourite beer and perhaps other snacks that I know they will love. Sometimes, I will add in beauty products if the hamper is for my mum or a friend so that it just makes it that little bit more special. The options are endless; it just depends on your creativity and imagination.

There are so many different ways to celebrate Fathers Day and it doesn’t always have to involve buying them a lavish gift, it could just be breakfast in bed or a handmade card – my mum is a sucker for a handmade card, she bloody loves them.

However, my biggest bit of advice to take from this is: send it Next Day Delivery, because if you are anything like me you do not have time to hang around.
