Well. 2017 is done. Finally.
It was a very mixed year for me. Lots of amazing highs and quite a few shitty lows. I want to achieve so much in 2018 but remind myself to always be happy and do what is best for myself – which is something that I didn’t do for a while. So, let’s put 2017 in the bin and move on with new fresh goals for 2018.
Driving – I need to get back behind the wheel and get my test over and done with. I really enjoy driving and having that added independence means that I can spend more time with my friends and family that don’t live in the city. The instructor I had last year was amazing, so I can’t wait to see her again and get stuck in.
House – I love my home but I need more space for all my lovely possessions – well, I should say for all my crap. House hunting can be fun because I went through it once before when I bought my current home, but it is just hard to find a house that ticks all the right boxes. One of the boxes that must be ticked, is it has to have a garden because I really want to get a dog. God knows what kind, but I do want one.
Dog – Well, I just really want a dog. Simple.
Health – Health will always be on my list. This time though, I don’t just mean my weight, I mean my mental health. Towards the end of last year I had a few very stressful events that occurred roughly at the same time. I really found it hard to deal with it all, but I got through it in the end. So I need to make sure that I talk more about my thoughts and feelings and not bottle them up too much.
Blog – I always try and set myself little goals for my Blog, but I think I need to look at the whole picture and set myself up with some larger goals and actually bloody achieve them. I know that Instagram is an absolute nightmare to try and grow, but that isn’t an excuse to stop working hard on all my other social media platforms. So perhaps I need to plan out some goals for my Blog.
I would love to know what your goals are for 2018. Whether it be personal, career driven or blog related. Tell me your goals below!
