On the eve before the dreaded Black Friday, I was invited along to The Body Shop store to have a night of testing beauty products, laughter and a couple of glasses of bubbly - I even grabbed one for the road. Literally.
Thinking back, I honestly believe that The Body is one of the first beauty brands that I used as a teenager. I think I was gifted one of their classic Body Butters from my grandmother and from then on, I have adored the rich, creamy texture of their Body Butters.
The time in which we spent in the store, majority of us browsed all of The Body Shop collections and even grabbed a few things for ourselves. This is one of the best places to go for stocking fillers for Christmas or even just to treat yourself to a little something. Their lowest priced item currently is a Bath Fizzer which is only £1. I really wanted to take home a few of the Cranberry ones, but they were completely sold out.
At the time of the event, the store had just launched their Black Friday deal which meant that majority of their products were 40% off. It was amazing. I picked up a few treats for myself and then contemplated picking up one of their Beauty Advent Calendars. It didn't take me long to realise how amazing the offer was, so I grabbed the largest Advent Calendar to take home with me. I cannot wait to open up all the pretty little boxes.
My favourite part of this evening had to be the Personliser (I named it that, not sure if it has an official name). Like I said at the beginning of this post, The Body Shop body butter is one of their most perfect item to pop in to someones stocking for Christmas. So, The Body Shop have created a labelling machine that lets you personalise your body butter. I just love my tub of Vanilla Chai Body Butter*... and just look at that Panda.
Do you love The Body Shop? If so, what are your favourite products?
