September was an interesting month. There was a massive health scare and a tough decision that will change my life. But I made it through September and now it is time to update my Goals from last month.
No. 1 YouTube – I know I have made this one of my goals before. Creating content and sharing them on that platform for everyone to watch is amazing. It has taken a backseat lately due to the wedding, travelling and work life. But I have invested in new equipment and I cannot wait to use it.
I have successfully created one video. Just one. I have a list of video ideas that I want to create, but for the last two weeks I have been out of the house like 3 times because I have been feeling shit. Because I have been in the house (or back home) you would think I would take advantage of the time and film heaps of videos. But no one wants to see how I was looking over those two weeks. I looked so grey and was so exhausted. But I am feeling a lot better so hopefully will be ready to film soon.
No. 2 Social Media Interaction – I have been investing more time in actually being social on my social media. It is easy to just share, sit back and wait. But actually taking time to interact with each other is important. That is how you will gain readers – not just followers.
Taking time to communicate more with other bloggers and replying to comments ASAP have been my focus and it seems to actually work. Not that I doubted that it will, but it is so nice to talk to people with the same interests as you.
No. 3 Make Up Style – I have certain beauty products that I wear every day. I cannot go a day without liquid eyeliner. When I do, I feel a little paranoid. I have worn winged eyeliner pretty much every day since the age of 14 – so why stop now? Well, I want to be a bit more adventurous when it comes to make up. Now just winged eyeliner and mascara every day and the occasional smoked eye. I want to experiment with colour.
Similar to the first goal, I haven’t done much with this since being house bound. I think I have applied a full face once and applied just mascara and eyeliner on one other occasion. I did use my liquid liner for all over my eyelid for one of my #ad Instagram posts and I loved it. It really made my eyes stand out and didn’t look gothic. It looked quite chic.
No. 4 Seasonal Wardrobe – We are fast approaching Autumn and I am ready to start investing in some new boots and knitwear for my favourite season. Cannot. Wait.
This is one goal that I have achieved. Whoohoo! I have invested in some new boots and some lovely knitwear and Autumnal dresses for the coming months. I am going to try and do some #OOTD posts but I was also thinking about filming an Autumn shopping haul/wardrobe video for my YouTube channel. I love watching those videos and I haven’t done anything with fashion for my channel yet – just Beauty. So let’s see if I will do that.
What goals did you achieve September?
