It is the last day of November. You know what that means… Christmas is right around the corner.
November was a great month. It was filled with laughter, liquor and lipstick. I set myself three simple tasks and I am so happy with what I achieved because this month I wanted to really focus on myself mentally and I feel so much happier with my life and myself.
So, here is what I got up to.
No. 1 Birthday – Like I said, I am excited to celebrate my birthday along with one of my best friends. The plan at the moment is to enjoy a feast of Tapas with an abundance of cocktails. Quickly followed by dancing the night away in a 80s nightclub that serves shots that are overpriced. I cannot wait. I love 80s music and I love dancing the night away with my closest friends.
My birthday shenanigans were splendid and I don’t think that I have ever eaten that much cake in my life. I was surrounded by some of my closest friends, eating beautiful Tapas and drinking a lot of cocktails. Perfection. I also got the most amazing gifts – cash. I am a very impulsive person so I am really hard to buy for. So cash is always the best present to get me.
No. 2 Twitter – This may seem a little weird, but I have been trying to get my Twitter handle changed to @lipstickdaily for a while now. But someone else has it and they have been inactive since 2012! This month I am going to make it my goal to update my Twitter handle.
I do not like to share anything negative on my blog. Yes a few sassy wee comments for comedy effect but I don’t like to be negative, but – you could tell there was a “but” coming – Twitter Support is a load of nonsense. The automatic responses you get from the Twitter DM is a bloody bot and no one replies to your tweets. So I just sucked it up and changed my Twitter handle to @_lipstickdaily_ which is far better for my brand. That inactive account for @lipstickdaily is still kicking about, so that pisses me off. But oh well.
No. 3 – Layout – Speaking of an update, I am planning on refreshing my Blog layout. I have so many ideas at the moment and I want to see how a refresh will look and feel.
I have changed my Blog header and that is about it. I have not made enough time for my Blog this month to play around with the layout, but I have many ideas that I want to try out. I think I need to go on an adventure to take some blog photos, but at the moment I have used one of my favourite photos for the header – marble and peonies. Perfect.
That’s it. That was November. Now… December.
What did you achieve in November?
