No introductions needed...
Well, there isn't a need for an intro. Is there? We all know what it is. The acidic sunshine yellow of this bag is associated with one of the most beautiful Department stores that I have ever wept in to. Wait. Should that of said "stepped". Nope. Wept is correct.
The beautifully stacked merchandise makes my heart flutter. The clothing that has been photographed for magazines makes me feel close to Heaven. I love to stroke the fabrics, stare at the minute details and even check the finishing - just incase. The accessories sit there like they have never been touched before, perfect alignment and uniform. I do think that the accessories areas needs more Theatre - but that is just my opinion.
When it comes to the beauty department you have to fight your way through the sea of swatchers. Swatching left, right and centre for that lipstick shade that they have seen a blogger blog about. The perfume section has a scent that can only be described as pleasantly choking. The delicate floral scents draw you in, then the other scents soon drag you under their spell of odour. Sometimes it can just be a bit to overwhelming. But that sure as hell does not stop me sampling the classics and newbies.
This particular trip to Selfridges found me in their chocolate department. Somewhere where no child should be left unaccompanied from an adult. The amount of screaming children was enough for me to punch a Lindt bunny in the face - but don't worry, I couldn't do that. It is far too cute.As I walked through the department store in my own wee happy world I found him. Marc Jacobs. Tucked away in the corner. I marched straight over to find the newest pair of earrings that would join my collection. And I was so happy that I found these little pretties - they were the last pair. I love how simple yet girly they are. The perfect pair for Spring/Summer.
