Throw away all your bronzers and highlights because you just need this one palette in your life...
With 8 different pressed powders, you will find the perfect combination to complete your perfect contouring look. Using the guide on how to contour - it is on the back of the packaging - it is quite easy to apply and blend. This particular blog post is not a step by step guide on how to contour, because you can find dozens of fantastic tutorial videos online and the instructions provided with the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (£18) are spot on. This blog post is focused on how fantastic this particular product is and why you need it in your beauty kit.
If, like me, you do not tend to contour on a daily basis but really like to give your facial features some definition, then just follow these little tips.
For a bright look: Apply a little highlighter to your cheekbones, chin, forehead and the bridge of your nose.
For defined cheekbones: Apply bronzer under your cheekbones.
To slim your nose: Apply bronzer either side of your nose and highlight along the bridge.
Lift your eyes: Apply highlighter under your eyes and along under your eyebrows.
I really like to apply bronzer along the top of my forehead, blending in to my hairline, I feel like my face doesn't look so flat. Applying bronzer under my cheekbones is a daily routine for me though. I am quite lucky that I have quite nice cheekbones (something I never thought I would be writing) so I just enhance what I already have.
That is what I think contouring is all about, enhancement and with the NYX Hightlight & Contour Pro Palette you will be a professional at contouring in no time.
Do you love to contour? If so, what do you use?
