Garnier Micellar Water. It is as easy as one...two...three...
When it comes to removing make up, I have always gone with alcohol free make up wipes or baby wipes to avoid drying out my skin. I have a combination skin type - oily chin/nose and a dry t-zone, so choosing the right skincare products is important. Well, it should be important to everyone.
Overall, we [we being the general public] spend more money on make up than we do on skincare. If we took better care of our skin, then maybe we wouldn't need to buy as much concealer to cover up blemishes. Or use as much foundation to on a daily basis. Just a thought there.
With Micellar Water hitting beauty departments and becoming the next big thing for the beauty markets, I knew that I had to follow the craze and grab myself a bottle. This is a very generous size bottle of Micellar Water from Garnier, and it claims to last up to 200 uses. Considering how little you need to wipe off your make up, I can quite believe it.
This particular Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is designed for Combination and Sensitive skin types and it is perfume free. It does what it says on the tin. Well... bottle. It claims it "mattifies" your skin type, giving you a more even skin finish. This makes it easier to apply primer and foundation. To go along with the Micellar Water I bought some cotton wool pads from Boots that are double faced - perfect for your face and for tackling the removal of nail polish. I haven't reached for a pack of wipes in a long time and I think I won't need to buy another packet for a while.
Have you tried Micellar Water?
Or are you a true lover of wipes?
