I often find that some perfumes are liars...
Estée Lauder claims that this particular fragrance has noted of "exotic mandarin, honeysuckle nectar, dewy petals, jasmine..." and I have to say that I totally agree with this. When I was gifted this perfume, I felt like I was betraying my signature perfume that I wear every single day by adding this bottle to my shelf but I was so happy with this scent. There is nothing wrong with a little beauty betrayal. Right?
Lets be honest. I often find that some perfumes are liars. Telling you that they have hints of beautiful inviting scents that you cannot wait to spritz but then you cannot pick up on those scents whatsoever and I even find that some perfumes can have a strong smell of ammonia. Lovely.
When I was younger I would buy perfumes mostly for the bottle - anything in a pretty glass bottle looks good. But as I got older my perfume choices became more refined. I have out grown some of the most famous classic scents out there and fallen in love with light floral fragrances that make me happy. So currently, I am very happy that I am cheating on my perfume with this perfume.
What is your perfume?
