Wearing false lashes has become part of my daily make up routine, so finding false lashes that suit my face is important. Esqido helps you find the perfect lashes for you within just a few clicks.
When it comes to wearing false lashes, it was very rare that I would apply them. They were reserved for nights out and I often ended up pulling them off half way through the night. Now, lashes have become part of my daily routine and when I don’t wear them, I feel really strange. When I catch myself in the mirror with a full face of make up but no lashes I think I look a bit like an Alien. I have several different kinds of lashes at home but tend to opt for long wispy looking lashes that sit comfortably along with my natural lashes.

I used to find it hard to find the right lashes for my eye shape. But that all changed when I discovered Esqido.

Esqido have created an online guide to help you find lashes that suit your style and your eye shape. The questions that they ask are:

  • What’s your eye type? i.e. Deep set, Almond, Round, Hooded…
  • Placement of your eye? i.e. Close set, Medium, Wide Set…
  • What size are your eyes?
  • How would you describe your own lashes?
  • What’s the look that best describes you? i.e. Natural, Elegant, Sultry, Formal…
  • How experienced are you with applying false lashes?
  • How will you wear your lashes? i.e. Daily use, Night out, Wedding…

After you take the little online quiz, it gives you a selection of lashes to choose from that they think will suit you. I decided to go for ‘Silhouette’ and ‘Radiance’ - two different styles that give your lashes a wispy look with a little bit of drama.

In this image I have just applied some mascara to my natural lashes. As you can see they are quite short and sparse, but because I have a lot of room above my eyelid I can afford to have false lashes that are quite big and dramatic.

Radiance - These lashes are amazing. I love the length of the outer corner lashes, not too long and not to short. They really open up my eye. The style of the lashes are really clever, they criss-cross at the base to give the false lashes more volume without the weight. Very clever I think.

Silhouette - These lashes are more subtle than the Radiance pair yet still sultry. This particular style is more of what I would wear on a daily basis as they look slightly more natural than the other pair. If you have natural lashes like this though, you are so lucky.
The glue that Esqido lashes is fantastic. Latex-free glue that dries clear and the applicator is long and thin. Perfect sized tube for your handbag, just in case you need to do a touch up here and there. I find that the lash glue lasts all day, but sometimes on the inner corners, it does start to lift - but this is not unusual for me. All lashes I have tried does this, so I put it down to my eye shape.

Even the packaging that the products come in is lovely. Each set of lashes comes in its own little box with a magnetic seal and all the packaging is white and rose gold - perfect for those blog worthy photos.

At the moment Esqido have 15% off their when you use the code NY15 - so get your lashes whilst you can. Get your ESQIDO mink lashes [here] and don't forget your ESQIDO eyelash glue!
