The glamourous brand that every girl has talked about was the first counter I hit when I was in Glasgow for my birthday last month.
I proudly carried my tiny hot pink shopping bag from House of Fraser as I walked through Buchanan Street - excited to try out my new make up. There was so much that I wanted to try out but this particular lipstick and blusher was at the top of my shopping list.

The feeling that you get whilst you browse the Cahrlotte Tilbury range is something really special. They have styled the boutique in such an amazing way, large ostrich feathers amongst the velvet seats. Perfection.

Whilst in store I picked up the Cheek to Chic Ecstasy blusher and the Hot Lips Hel's Bells lipstick. when it comes to my favourite blushers, I am a sucker for a soft coral/pink tone but with a bit of shimmer, so this blusher was perfect for me. As for the lipstick, I wanted to try their most vamp lipstick and this is the shade that was recommended for me. I fell in love with the design of the packaging - the rose gold just made the burgundy pop. I was so excited to try out my new purchases straight away, but I knew I needed to wait to photograph them when I got back home from our trip.

I was really impressed with the blush, you just swish and pop! The idea is that you swish your brush in the blush (bit of a tongue twister there) and then apply it to your cheeks. Then you dab the brush in the middle colour and apply it to the apples of your cheeks, giving you a "pop" of colour. Simple. Yet genius.

The lipstick is a matte lipstick, so I make sure that I apply a lip balm before I apply the lipstick just to prevent my lips from drying out too much. It lasted about 4 hours before I felt the need to reapply, but I find that matte lipsticks need to be touched up more than a cream based lipstick. The colour is really intense and it has the scent of cocoa. Amazing. They have thought of everything. I am in love.
Have you tried Charlotte Tilbury's range? If so, what are your thoughts?
